Cost for Services 

Medicare

 

 

 

We are registered for Medicare, which means you may be eligible for services under Medicare if you have a Chronic disease GP Management Plan and/or Team Care Arrangements. A chronic medical condition is one that has been present for six months or longer, for example asthma, cardiovascular disease, or diabetes. To check if you are eligible speak with your GP. The current rebate amount from is $56.00 for a maximum of five allied health services per patient each calendar year.

 

 

 

Medicare Health Care Plans during are eligible for a rebate of $55.10 for Telehealth and Face to Face services.

 

 

 

Private Health Funds

 

 

 

If you have private health insurance, then you may be eligible to receive a rebate on the nutrition services we provide. Contact your private health fund to find out what your rebate might be.

 

 

 

NDIS

 

 

 

We are NDIS friendly and can assist those who are plan managed or are self-managed or have a plan management with plan partners. We are highly skilled, passionate, and dedicated to making nutritional choices easier for people with a disability. We provide you an invoice for the service and you will manually claim the funds back from NDIS, or if you’re Plan Managed, your Plan Manager does this for you. The cost of nutrition services with Australian Bariatric Dietitians follows the NDIS price guide.  This includes Medicare, Pay as you go, and Private Health fund. Most appointments incur a travel cost which can vary based on your location. Contact us for a quote based on your individual circumstances.

 

 

 

Fees 

 

Face to Face Consultations 

 

Initial $150 for a 45-60minute consultation. We consider your medical and nutritional needs and provide you with recommendations incl. a comprehensive nutrition guide, analysis, and any relevant resources and email support to help you reach your goal.

 

 

Follow Up $95 for a 30-minute consultation. We continue and adjust your nutritional care and recommendations to help you reach your goal. Includes a summary and recommendations of your consult and any relevant handouts to your needs.

Telehealth Consultations 

 

 

Initial $150 for a 45-60minute consultation. We consider your medical and nutritional needs and provide you with recommendations incl. a comprehensive nutrition guide, analysis, and any relevant resources and email support to help you reach your goal.

 

Follow Up $85 for a 20-30 minute consultation. We continue and adjust your nutritional care and recommendations to help you reach your goal. Includes a summary and recommendations of your consult and any relevant handouts to your needs.

Tailored Meal Plan

 

 As an additional service, we can provide you with an individualised 3-day or 7-day meal plan that is tailored to your needs. This is only available after a consultation assessment. Ask at the time of your consultation for the fee structure of your meal plan if requiring one.
