What is the appointment checklist?
In preparation for your consult, we gather some information about you to tailor the best nutritional advice to suit your medical, weight loss, and lifestyle needs. It helps us identify the areas that we can support you best on. You’ll only need to fill it out once and will take about 2 minutes to complete. This will be emailed to you as a link online once you’ve secured your appointment.
Are you registered with Medicare or Private Health Insurances?
Yes, we are registered with Medicare and Private Health Funds. Please check with Medicare or your private health fund for eligibility first.
How much is a consultation?
Do I need to pay before my consultation?
Yes, only for Telehealth (Phone or Video Call) Services. Bookings are secured on payment and you will receive a notification via email to confirm your booking. Payment can be done via internet banking or over the phone. Face to Face consultation payments is done at the designated time and location.
I don't see what I'm after. Are you able to provide me other dietitian services?
Yes, we can help you. Our Accredited Practising Dietitians have experience in medical nutrition therapy with clients in the hospitals, private practice, corporate, school and media environments. Feel welcome to Contact Us about the service you are interested in.
Do you work with media or events?
Where are you located?
Westmead Private Hospital, Suite 19, Corner of Mons and Darcy Roads, Westmead NSW 2145. We also operate Telehealth (phone and video call) services from within Australia and to Australian residents.
Does the dietitian or I make the video or phone call?
The Dietitian will call you at your designated appointment time +/- 5-10 minutes. A link will be emailed to you ahead of your appointment. You’ll simply click on the link at the time of your appointment & join the meeting. The application we use is called Zoom. It’s free to use and no software or downloads is required. Zoom is an award-winning video and phone online communication system. It can be used on desktop, laptop, iPad and mobile devices.
Can I choose my consulting dietitian?
Yes. At the time of your booking you can select which dietitian you’d like to consult with.
I can't book a time that suits me. What can I do?
Can’t see a time that suits your schedule? We can cater to out of office hours for you. Contact Us to see if we can also be available.
What happens if I miss the call for my consultation?
If you miss your call, we will attempt to call you again within the first 15 minutes. Failure to answer or call back within this time will result in being considered as a non-attendance and cancellation fee being charged.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that circumstances can occur in the event for a consultation to be rescheduled.
Any cancellations that occur 24 hours or more before the consultation time are able to reschedule up to 3 occasions at no additional cost.
A cancellation made within 24 hours of the consultation time will occur in a 50% cancelled booking fee.
